Benjamin A. Ritger, Associate Broker

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ben attained his Florida Real Estate salesman’s license in 1999 after spending the previous ten years owning and operating two successful cycling related businesses. Within a year of receiving his salesman’s license he attained his Florida Brokers license and was asked to take the role of Principal Broker for Vision Realty of Florida in Ormond Beach. Having purchased 1/3 of that firm and as its Broker, he was instrumental in growing the single office entity into one of Volusia Counties top 10 independent real estate firms. He became a broker in Virginia in 2007 and having sold Vision Realty, relocated back to Virginia Beach in 2009, where he joined Atkinson Realty in the resort area. While at Atkinson Realty he served in many positions, such as the Training and Recruiting Manager, Certified Manager of Community Associations, and Broker Associate. Ben and his family relocated to Williamsburg, VA where he opened Ritger Real Estate & Development in 2019. What keeps him engaged in business is that he enjoys the challenges of the ever changing real estate business landscape! Benjamin specializes in listing and sales of waterfront, golf course and investment portfolio properties, as well as commercial lease and commercial property development.

Ben is married and has two beautiful children. When not working he can be found at the soccer field with his children, racing sailboats, playing golf or rehearsing with his band or his churches worship team, where he serves as their drummer/percussionist.
