Lancaster County was established in 1651 and offers a wonderful combination of beautiful waterways, history, natural beauty and culture for residents and visitors alike. Lancaster County is the most densely populated county in the Northern Neck with approximately 11,000 people. The county edges on the Rappahannock and Corrotoman rivers, Carters Creek, and multiple creeks flowing into the Chesapeake Bay.
