After graduating from the College of William and Mary, Randy entered the U.S. Army and married Jodi, a Williamsburg, Virginia native. Their 25-year journey with the Army included multiple moves within the U.S. and overseas while they raised three children together. Randy’s successful career as an Army Officer included increasing positions of responsibility where he helped plan and coordinate large-scale logistics operations in support of critical operations. Randy’ overseas tours included operations during the Persian Gulf War, in Central America, Afghanistan and Iraq.
After retiring almost 10 years ago from a successful Army career, Randy discovered a natural talent for adeptly managing real estate investments for both buyers and sellers. Progressing in his career, Randy excelled, especially in selling homes that presented challenges for other agents. With his business expanding, he brought in the support of his lifelong partner, Jodi, and together they established the Williamsburg Home Team in beautiful Williamsburg, VA.

What is your favorite thing about Williamsburg?
I love Williamsburg’s small town feel and southern
charm. It is the kind of neighborly town where you
can get to personally know the local shop keepers
and they remember your name, and you always run
into a friend wherever you go. I love the fact that
you can get from one end of town to the other in
just 15 minutes and enjoy a relaxing drive along the
way – I frequently use the scenic Colonial Parkway
or take the opportunity to drive through the historic
district when running around town. As a small
college town and resort destination, Williamsburg
rivals many bigger cities when it comes to things to
do and see – it seems like there is always a music,
art or food festival happening in town. The “Grand
Illumination” in December and our 4th of July
celebration are famous throughout the region and
are a must see. Located a little over an hour from
Virginia Beach, 2 hours from the Outer Banks, 2
hours from DC and just 2 hours from the Mountains,
I find it the perfect place to call home.

There’s nothing more personal than buying or
selling one’s home. It should be a fun and exciting
experience and making it so is always my goal.

What’s most important to you in your business?
Client satisfaction! I strive to make sure every Client
has the best possible experience and that they
leave the closing table completely satisfied with the
support and guidance I provided along the way. If
I have done my job right, they won’t hesitate to
call me again or recommend me to their family or
friends.

Randy and his wife Jodi are an awesome team, especially if you are looking in the Williamsburg/James City County market. I don't think there is a thing about Williamsburg Jodi doesn't know. Randy is a fountain of info and seems to know ten people for every issue that comes up. He is also clear in his explanations and does not beat around the bush. With both of them, I liked that they always just told it like it is. They always made me feel like I was their only client, no matter how busy they were. We bought our new home and sold our old one with them, and they went ten extra miles to do both! If you need a realtor, look no further.
This team did a great job helping us find our home. We were searching for a home and lived in another state. They were always willing to show us homes at the last minute and went the extra mile to help us weed out what they knew wouldn't work for our family. All of this during the Pandemic!

Randy worked with us through complicated sales process and was patient and helpful through it all. He was able to calmly deal with ups and downs, advised us on best way to invest to improve the house, and provided vendor options/ recommendations. We attained the price we hoped for in the time frame we desired; he explained and helped us through the process. He went above and beyond in his service. Without Randy, there is no doubt this would not have happened so smoothly!
Best real estate agents, ever!! Randy was able to oversee a complete renovation of my townhouse, which had been rented and was then in a deplorable state. He knew reputable and capable contractors to recommend and kept up with the ongoing repairs. His knowledge of the construction side of this renovation was invaluable. Upon selling the property, he made the process seamless. Several years ago, Randy & Jodi were the agents for the sale of my home.
