My husband and I recently had the opportunity to work with Melissa Shaheen in both selling our home and purchasing another home. We found a home we wanted to purchase, and Melissa helped us come up with a very competitive offer. The house had been vacant for 1+ years, so we wanted to make sure we knew what we were getting. Melissa met us at the house several times before helping us craft a competitive offer. Part of our offer included listing our own home within a week. This was not an easy task, especially with 2 teenagers and 1 five year old. Melissa helped us get the house show-ready. She brought in a stager at the end whose finishing touches made a big difference. The marketing materials and social media campaign really showcased our house. Pricing the house appropriately was a big concern of ours. Melissa spent a lot of time working through comps to help us come up with the right number. We listed on a Friday and had solid showings on both Saturday and Sunday. We accepted a very competitive offer the following day. Melissa did not disappear after our purchase contract and contract to sell were accepted. She kept in regular contact with me on inspections and other requests and questions we had. She met me at the new house several times, so I could have contractors planning work that needed to start as soon as we closed on the house.
