AboutMaribeth Lacy
Maribeth is a native of Richmond having grown up in Eastern Goochland County in Manakin-Sabot. She attended Collegiate School and then received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Sweet Briar College in Amherst, VA. Upon graduation, she worked in the Senate of Virginia Clerk’s Office. When her first child was born, she decided to leave her job at the General Assembly and start selling real estate. Since her father has been in the real estate appraisal business for over 45 years, this was a natural career path for her to follow. She is currently active in the residential real estate sales market as an agent with Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville, but also as a Licensed Residential Real Estate Appraiser with her father’s company, P.E. Turner & Company, LTD. While the Virginial General Assembly is in session, she serves as a lobbyist with Capitol Square Strategies.
She is an active member of Second Baptist Church, the Tuckahoe Woman’s Club, and the Sleepy Hollow Civic Association. She enjoys barre, music (playing piano & viola and teaching piano lessons to children & adults), cooking, boating, and spending time with her family at their home on Gwynn’s Island in Mathews County. She and her husband, David, reside in the West End of Henrico County with their 2 children, their Brittany Spaniel, Beans, and their rescued Maine Coon cat, Bunny.
