One of Kim’s greatest qualities is her ability to connect with people. This characteristic has set her apart in her professional career. Kim’s passion for antiques, homes and gardens, interior design, and fashion have inspired her professional endeavors. She worked with Etcetera, a direct sales fashion for women, for more than fourteen years and rose to become one of the top producing sales consultants in the country. She did this by listening to her clients, being sincere and honest. Her love for antiques and interior design was nurtured through her jobs working with two interior designers and with the Estate, Antique and Appraisal Division of a local auction house. Kim’s unique ability to creatively envision the potential of properties has fueled her love for real estate and has been elegantly displayed in her own homes which she has renovated and had built.

      What is your favorite thing about your town?
      The charm, the people, the history and location being between the mountains and the ocean create a wonderful place to live.
      What initially drew you to real estate?
      The love of homes, vision and the challenge of wanting to match buyers with the best home for them and to help sellers navigate through the process of selling their home in the least stressful way
      Why is relationship building so key to your success?
      Whether you are working with a client or helping someone, in a different capacity, you build trust and develop relationships which in turn create referrals. Referrals are the largest compliment you can receive.
      How has your previous experience benefitted your practice of real estate?
      I have been in the interior design business, renovated homes, built homes and have a passion for architecture which helps me see the possibilities in homes.
      What’s most important to you in your business?
      Honesty and helping clients find the best home to suit them and to help sellers maneuver through the process in the least stressful way.

      I've known Kim and Taylor for years and that's why I called them, but it was how impressed my husband and I were with their presentation and knowledge of the market in our area. From start to finish I was extremely happy with their constant contact, willingness to help with anything at any time. We asked a lot of them-to put the house on the market in less than 2 weeks. They got painters, helped with furniture arranging and staging and were there for non-stop showings.       Looked Out For Our Best Interest Kim was our realtor for a purchase and a sale. My husband and I were looking to find our retirement home and she helped us find our dream home and made the negotiations with the seller a pleasant experience. Once we were settled in our new home, we wanted to get our previous home in Fredericksburg ready for sale. Since we were so happy with Kim on the purchase of our house we asked her to sell this house for us even though it was not in her area. Kim contacted her colleagues in Northern Virginia so that we could target that area with the listing system there. Kim walked us through the process of getting the house ready for sale and selling it. She did a realistic comparison with other homes in the area to determine the right sales price. Next she helped us determine which items to fix around the house so that we could maximize the selling price of our home with the least amount of cost. Even though there were numerous other homes for sale in the neighborhood, our home looked great with the landscaping suggestions Kim gave us and it sold quickly at a price we were happy with.
      Kim was always very prompt in responding to us and getting the answers we needed. She looked out for our best interest throughout the entire process. We were so pleased with Kim in every aspect of both the buying and selling of our homes and we would highly recommend her to anyone.
