John’s primary focus is representing AR Homes, a luxury custom homebuilder operating in the Central Virginia region. John is the V.P. of Sales & Marketing for AR Homes, RVA and brings over 30 years of homebuilding experience to his role with AR Homes. John has been helping his customers realize their AR Homes® dreams since April 2019. When not helping clients, John enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his family.

John’s commitment to his home buyers has been recognized with numerous awards from the Homebuilder’s Association of Richmond (HBAR) and AR Homes.

What is your favorite thing about your community?

I love living in the Richmond area because it is ideally located for taking advantage of so many things to do in the Region. Whether hiking and visiting wineries in Charlottesville, visiting VA Beach, taking in the historic activities in Williamsburg, or enjoying all of the things that RVA has to offer, it’s all very accessible.

Why is realtionship building so key to your success?

I enjoy building relationships with people because I genuinely enjoy helping and spending time with our home buyers. The best compliment that they can give me is to refer one of their friends to buy and AR Home.

How does your background bring a unique perspective to your work?

My experience and background includes over 30 years in the homebuilding industry, working in a variety of roles. I’ve had the opportunity to work for public and private builders and have experienced the industry from many perspectives.

My wife and I are big supporters of Compassion International and God’s Pit Crew out of Danville, VA
