Meet Greg Somerville

He laughs. He’s got a good sense of humor and a love for adventure. He may tell you a story (or two) about growing up with five brothers in the hills of West Virginia. If you enjoy international travel or the outdoors, he will definitely want to see your most recent pictures.  

Greg connects with all types. A graduate of Woodberry Forest School and Dartmouth College, he is comfortable with C-suite movers and shakers. But he is equally at home on his son’s farmstead in Amelia, putting up metal roofing and fence posts. Regardless of your age, gender, ethnicity, education, politics, or religion, he will respect and treasure your story. 

He has a lot of life experience under his belt. Married for more than 35 years, Greg and his wife have six children and five grandchildren. They have owned four homes, contributed to three college tuitions (including two at the University of Richmond), spent one year in a foreign country, and hiked all 485 miles of the Colorado Trail. 

By the time you finish your coffee, you will recognize the overarching quality that makes him most effective: he cares. For more than 20 years he served as a pastor, helping people navigate life’s biggest challenges and decisions. Clients often use the word “calming” to describe his guidance. He anticipates their questions, addresses their concerns, and works tirelessly to help them achieve their dreams.
