Our Story
Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville Real Estate opens its doors in May with 62 agents, a small but mighty staff, and a vision for something different. We closed our founding year with $ 81 M+ in gross sales.
We expanded into a second Richmond location, grew to 81 agents, and ended the year with $301M+ in sales—proof that our model was working.
A third office opens in Bon Air. Our team grows to 125 agents, and we close over $450M in sales—solidifying our presence in the market.
Despite a global pandemic, we hit a major milestone: $1B in lifetime sales. We also opened our fourth office in Irvington and welcomed our 162nd agent.
We launched our Williamsburg office above The Cheese Shop and began construction on a permanent space. That same year, we were selected to join LuxuryRealEstate.com and surpassed $977M in sales.
Williamsburg’s new office opens in its permanent home, and we debut a brand-new website—reflecting how far we've come in just five years. We closed the year with $825M+ in volume, continuing our upward momentum across all markets.
With $825M+ in sales, SRMF continued to deliver strong results across all markets. We focused on enhancing agent tools, deepening community engagement, and maintaining our client-first approach.
We closed the year with $907M+ in volume, surpassed $5 billion in lifetime sales, and were named the exclusive Board of Regents member for LuxuryRealEstate.com in our area—further solidifying our leadership in the high-end market.
Now with 185+ agents and a fully redesigned website, SRMF remains focused on thoughtful growth, innovative service, and the trusted relationships that have defined our firm since 2017.
