Bonnie Cosby comes from a Real Estate family and a Richmond native and further her education at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has watched the City and Greater Richmond grow into what has become today along with our ever-growing housing market. She has lived in Richmond all of her life with the exception of the 3 years from 2004-2007, when she moved to Boston, MA and worked in commercial real estate for CB Richard Ellis New England as a marketing assistant & graphic designer. Bonnie has an extensive background in marketing, graphic design and in the inner workings of how a Real Estate office runs from day to day. Her background enables her to understand how a transaction flows and how important proper documentation in the process.
Prior to starting her Real Estate career, she studied marketing at VCU with a concentration in creative advertising, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2004. Both her mother and grandmother were real estate brokers. Her grandmother even owned her own brokerage in Chester, Virginia until her retirement. She and her husband, Will, along with their 2-year-old son, currently reside in Bellevue on the North Side.
In her free time she enjoys running, kayaking, cooking, fishing and playing the violin & guitar. She also has volunteered as a Big Sister for Big Brothers& Sister’s of America, Hospitality House & been a Comfort Zone Camp counselor. She is actively participating with March of Dimes and is walking in their High Heels for High Hopes fundraising event. Bonnie is also currently training to run this year’s half marathon.
