Designing, Building, And Remodeling Homes In Williamsburg For More Than 30 Years

Ross family members have been carpenters and farmers for as long as anyone can remember. At a young age, Charlie Ross decided that breathing sawdust was the better of the two alternatives. In 1983, after a number of years as a framing contractor and a brief stint as a pool contractor, he established Charles W. Ross, Builder, Inc. which operates under the registered trade name Charles Ross Homes.

In 1999, son-in-law, Tim Cleary joined the business as managing director. An MIT-trained engineer, Tim led the company’s transition to a full-service residential design-build business. Since 2001, the company has employed a licensed architect on staff and offers both custom home design-build and remodeling design-build services.
