I have known Chris personally for many years. He is very personable and knowledgeable. My husband and I tried to sell our house in the past to no avail. When I asked Chris to represent us, I knew he would get the job done. We had a contract on our house within the first 10 days of listing it. Not only did he sell our house but he also found our new home, which we love! Chris was with us every step of the way. Thank you Chris!
Chris is so much more than a realtor. He is a community ambassador. Not only did he carefully listen to our goals and make sure he had a clear understanding of our wish list, he made a point of introducing us to the community. He loves where he lives and it makes absolute sense that he's made a career out of sharing it. It's kind of as if Jimmy Stewart were showing you Bedford Falls... Thanks Chris
Chris was extremely personable and helpful not only in helping us find the right home and sharing his considerable knowledge of the area, but also in negotiating and completing the process. Our circumstances were complicated by the fact that we were relocating across the country and could not be present for the home inspection and most of the process. Chris went above and beyond in representing us and we would recommend him to anyone buying or selling a home!
Chris did a great job. We were out of state sellers and the buyer was unrepresented. Chris kept the ball rolling and got the deal closed. Chris was very responsive to our many calls and messages and kept us informed throughout the process.
Chris is very knowledgeable and made very good recommendations to us. From the time we listed with Chris until the closing was less than 5 months. We would use Chris again and highly recommend him to others.
My husband and I had our house on the market for 9 months with another realtor before we met Chris. In that 9 months we had 2 showings. After Chris took over we had at least a dozen and his skill and expertise had us under contract within 6 months of signing the listing agreement. As of this writing, our house has officially sold with happy buyers and happy sellers.
Run do not walk to hire Chris for any of your real estate needs!
Chris did everything we asked him to, and traveled many miles to show us a lot of different land and homes, when we really did not know what we were looking for. He had great patience and eventually helped us to close on a home that we love.
We were recently downsizing and moving from our family home of 16 years in Richmond due to a job relocation. We really appreciated Chris's relaxed and low-key approach, and also helping us to get our minds around a new area. We both have some background in real estate and relocation, and Chris was able to work with what we knew, but also guide us in aspects that were new or different in the transaction.
Chris worked with us for about a year to find exactly the river house we wanted in Northern Neck. He was patient and very insightful in helping us develop our ideas through the search process. His architectural background was a big plus in helping us evaluate properties and ways we might remodel them. Additionally, at the end of a tough negotiation for the house we bought, Chris came up with the key counter suggestion to persuade the seller to take our final offer. Without Chris, the deal would have fallen through.
Chris is always charming and very smart. He really was a pleasure to spend time with. We give him an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up!
